ACEI International Outreach Committee Web Site

Welcome to our website! The International/Outreach committee promises a year full of action oriented projects that will highlight the committee members efforts to support the initiatives of the Association. Your involvement is extremely important. We had the opportunity to meet and interact with ACEI members during the 2010 Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. What a joyous occasion! Nothing better than meeting new members and talking to old friends!

There are important themes that emerged during our formal committee meeting and from conversations we had during the conference. These themes generated excitement and defined the 2010-2011 goals for the International/Outreach Committee. Important goals for the committee are:

· To collaborate with the membership committee in order to increase the membership, especially international membership

· To further develop partnership with other committees (e.g. Diversity, Publication, Technology, Conference)

· To continue supporting the function of the I/O Committee website on the ACEI website

· To assist headquarters with conference planning

· To support panel presentations or roundtable discussions with international attendees in the 2011 Annual Conference

· To welcome members attending the 2011 Annual Conference from outside the US

· To publish I/O columns in Exchange Childhood Education and Activist newsletter
